By northcascades from puget sound, wa on 11/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good layering pieces for winter snow sports. Have already used under soft shell pants and winter parka for winter hike, like the fit and lightweight warmth. Sizing is true - sleeves and legs long enough for taller women. Quality wool, no itching, washed up well. Good value for $.
I restock my closet each year with these By Rocky Mountain Rider from Carbondale, CO on 11/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Running, Snow Sports, Team Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I get cold easily, but not in these. They are just as well fitted to go under regular wear clothing and to go play in the snow. I live near the Continental Divide and it gets cold! In the winter, I live in these long underwear.
By massagemom from chicago, il on 11/07/2008 Cons: Itchy, Poor Craftsmanship, Puckery Best Uses: Cold Weather, Cycling, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was so looking forward to these baselayer tops. I purchased black and beige. I tried the black on, it was a little scratchy so I threw it in the wash. It came out very puckered with strings hanging from the sleeve hem. I put it back on and it was just as scratchy, itchy. I sent them both back.

By Arvay from Fairbanks, AK on 03/22/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Competition, Running, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Lightweight, warm merino base layer. Not quite as soft as some of the upscale brands, but suits me fine and is a great value for the money. My one complaint is that the scoopneck is too low. It's a big con here in the interior of Alaska, where temperatures regularly hover around -40!
Very Comfortable, warm and all natural By Liz from Santa Fe on 02/27/2008 Pros: All natural merino wool, Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've used the top and bottoms like PJs and have been very comfortable in them. They don't bunch up and I can sleep through the night without having to adjust anything. I particularly like that the elastic is not tight around my waist, I dislike being comfortable on any level.
I've washed both already but line dried them and they still retained their shape.
I primarily purchased them to wear as underwear to offset the cold here in Santa Fe. And they do the trick without adding extra weight.
By deerskin from Mpls on 01/29/2008 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice: smooth fabric and the arms are long enough, Besides the relatively large armholes the fit is on the snug side. I ordered up since I know that it will shrink a bit.
