Lovely color and not itchy By Telechick from NEPA on 11/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great value for the price. The fit seems to be loose, but not too loose. I will definitely be wearing it for skiing this winter.
By New England Naturalist from Easthampton, MA on 11/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Running, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear this base layer mostly for keeping warm around the house. It's comfortable, but a little big for layering. I ordered the small and I'm 5'4" and 130 lbs. I could have gone with the extra small.
Great warmth and fit. Would buy again. By Poke Salad Grannie from Branson, Missouri on 10/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I work outdoors at a theme park skillet in the winter time in 1890's costume. I needed warmth for the ice and snow storms and I found it!
By Fairly Fit Fay from Grand Junction, CO on 10/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I generally use a medium, but this runs big, so a small fit better. Loved the color, but the wool isn't as soft as my other merino wool brand shirts. Fabric is quite thin, but for the price it was worth it.
By jr from albuquerque on 10/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This top is sized large. I should have believed the description that says it is a relaxed fit. Was expecting it to fit like other brands- as a snug baselayer. Instead, baggy around the midddle, fine around the arms and chest. The red color is really pretty though...
By Mt Kili girl from Hartford, ct on 10/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I originally ordered this in natural & didn't like the color or the "see throughness" of this top. I sent it back for the burgundy color which is better. Its wool which is wonderful, however the neck on both tops is very wide. I figured it would be good as a layer over another turtleneck.
By FRUGAL SHOPPER from MINNESOTA on 10/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering, Running, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ORDERED TWO IN DIFFERENT COLORS. THEY REGULATE TEMPERATURE BETTER THAN SOME FLEECE DURING COLD WEATHER ACTIVITIES SUCH AS SNOWSHOEING, AND PACK SMALL FOR TRAVEL/NOT AS BULKY AS MOST FLEECE. GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY.
By Nicole from Alabama on 10/13/2009 Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This shirt is not snug enough to use as a base layer, it's sized quite large. Even if it were it wouldn't fit me. Like all athletic clothes for women, it's cut to fit a skinny teenage boy.
The zipper end pokes straight out at the bust line and won't lay flat. It would work okay for someone with an A cup or maybe a B.
To wool is a little itchy; this is not a high quality merino. But it is lightweight and thin, which is very nice.
By allison from williamstown ma on 09/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The Merino wool is soft, and very lightweight... can't test it in cold weather yet, but I'm sure it will be great. Runs a bit big with long sleeves.
Great wool underwear top! By M. from KY on 09/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this material! It's a useful top that I will enjoy wearing both alone or as an undergarment when the weather gets cooler.
