By geofx from Portland, OR on 10/18/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Soft Describe Yourself: Athletic, Bargain Shopper, Casual Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This rating is necessarily inaccurate because the ski season has yet to begin so the socks have not be used yet. They fit well but are slightly thinner than the description led me to believe.

By J.G. from Hendersonville, N.C. on 06/18/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Soft Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these socks for my son who is a Chef in the Sugarbush, VT. area and is an avid skiier. He's had these same socks from Birdgedale before and loves them. He tells me that they are the most durable and comfortable ski socks he's ever had. I wish I'd gotten him two pair. Great sock at a super price!!!
Size up; these are tight! By Eliza from Livingston, MT on 03/31/2009 Best Uses: Athletics, Riding boots Describe Yourself: Athletic, Bargain Shopper, Casual, Horse enthusiast Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted a tall sock to keep my riding boots from bare legs. These are very tight, expensive and I don't care for the material. I'll keep shopping for the right sock, this isn't it.
By Son of Skier from Minneapolis, MN on 02/11/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Soft Describe Yourself: Athletic, Bargain Shopper, Casual Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good fit, not too thick--extra padding at shins, toes and heels add comfort, elastic holds up against arch for non-slippage. If not pulled on tightly at toes, some bunching occurs by little toe. Have worn 3-4 times, so far no sign of wear (I would hope not). I have skiied for decades, and currently go 10 times or so/year. There are probably better high end socks out there, but for the price (they were on sale) these are all I need.

By N-E Skier from Boston, MA on 12/23/2008 Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Best downhill skiing socks I've had. Just enough padding in the shins, and warm enough without liners in single-digit temperatures.
