By Lisa from Dahlonega (Atlanta), GA on 06/01/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Insulating Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend For such a small item there are loads of details to this sock: thick padding at the shin and toes, thinner around creases, elastic support around arch, ankle as well as the cuff so they stay in place.
Don't be concerned that they are considered cosmetic 2nds. I had to put them on and search to find a flaw, which doesn't seem to compromise its integrity.

These socks are are light weight, stay up on the leg, and cushion in the right places for active riders. Lots of walking to get horses moved around and no blisters with these. I bought one pair to try, then ordered 5 more pairs!
By Tay the skier from Northern Maine on 12/21/2007 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cross Country Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These were purchased for my daughter and she indicated that her toes were cold at the end of the day. Living in NORTHERN Maine, it may not be the socks, but merely the weather. She did state that the padding felt good and her feet were less fatigued on the first day of ski season.
