Great backpacking companion ! By pianoman from Wenatchee, Washington on 07/23/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Stylish, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking, Mountaineering Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I loaded up a 73 pound pack and put on a new pair of hiking boots. The boots were a dream come true! The Smartwool Adrenaline socks kept my feet secure, dry, and comfortable, even when the daytime temps hit the mid 80s. I have a wool related sensitivity issue and was skeptacle about wearing them, but as soon as I put them on I loved them. No itching at all. Great companion socks for active outdoor adventures.

By dog from Fayetteville, AR on 03/14/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Design, Wicks Away Moisture Cons: Causes Blisters, Wears Quickly Best Uses: Daily Use, not thick enough, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is described as a thick, or heavyweight sock and that couldn't be futher from the truth! This is just a basic wool sock with a little padding in the toe and heel areas. Good for office use, walking around town, maybe hiking(dosen't have much cushion)
