It is supposed to be an underlayer but I wear it alone when it's warm enough--I love love the softness. Excellent price for Craft. Drawbacks? Sure there are: it becomes stinky faster than any other tech shirt I own and it wicks well but keep in mind it cannot make up for a marginal overlayer.
By Wenflip from Elkhart, IN on 01/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Cycling, Gym, Layering, Running, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shirt is great under most anything. I wore it to the gym today under my Tshirt and was comfortable. It's nice as a base layer around the house on cold days too (-19 yesterday). I'm long waisted and it's long enough also.
By Jo Jessica from Groton,CT on 01/07/2009 Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased this as a base layer for outdoor excercise and activity. I felt the fabric to be rough to the touch and the neckline a bit uncomfortable. It was an ok purchase for the price. I expected a little more comfort from the Craft name.
By runner44 from Fairfax,Va on 12/25/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Support, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Stylish Cons: More selection of colors Best Uses: Cold Weather, Running Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shirt is comfortable and keeps me dry on long runs. It fits like a second skin and really does regulate your body temperature. I have three of them! Awesome price and great quality!
By winter exerciser from syracuse, ny on 12/09/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Moisture Wicking, Stylish Best Uses: Cold Weather, Gym, Running, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for a good women's base layer that was attractive and had a long trunk. I don't know who manufactures women's athletic wear, but the tops often are too short and I'm not a giant. Only 5'7". This one is great. Good, comfortable material, unlike other wicking materials that are often scratchy and tacky. It has a nice flattering cut and it long enough!
