By Stumpjumper Jeff from Charles Town, West Virginia on 10/05/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Design Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm always concerned with ticks, so I thought I would give these a try. Hard to say if they work, since I didn't have anything to compare (no, I wasn't dedicated enough to wear a regular sock on one foot, etc.), but I didn't have any ticks or mosquito bites on my ankles. Regardless, they fit well and are comfortable hiking socks. Good enough for me!
