By Neil the Day Hiker from Montvale, NJ on 07/15/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are comfortable midweight socks. The only reason to get them is that they are impregnated with insecticide. I haven't field-tested them yet. Despite their purported wicking properties, I still wouldn't wear these without a sock liner, even for a day hike. You'll want the extra cushioning to fill out your hiking boots.
