Good value but cut is strange By Mark from Oxnard, CA on 03/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this for a trip to Europe. I brought it along, but the cut is very large. I would have exchanged it for a smaller size, but they did not have that size in stock.
By Alan from New York City on 03/08/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Very thin skinned pants likely to be sticky in the rain. Consider the lined versions at less money.
By Dave from New Mexico on 03/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Hiking Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are very good rain/wind pants for the money. Just came back from a 10 day backpacking trip and these were very good.
By Daniel Boone from Massachusetts on 02/27/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Waterproof Cons: Drawstring lock no good Best Uses: Backcountry, Hiking Describe Yourself: Advanced Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Sizing runs small had to exchange M for L which was easy and fast, sat down during 36 degree rain storm in snow meltwater fed stream for approx 10 minutes, butt and legs got real cold as I only had long johns underneath but stayed bone dry, walked through rain drenched forest off-trail for an hour at night occasionally jogging and running again bone dry. Was not even slightly cold when I wasn't sitting in streams in fact got warm quickly when I got out of streams. These pants WILL keep you dry and are fairly durable (no holes) and with a couple shakes after taking them off again bone dry and not even a hint of mud (it was raining hard) . Only had one issue, drawstring waistband "clip" did not stay put, pants tended to slide down. Still a great buy in my opinion. [...]
By Super Geezer from Ontario, CA on 02/26/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Hiking Describe Yourself: Advanced Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a very lightweight product that is a super addition to my daypack or backpack to keep me dry during rainy weather. I like the zip pockets and leg zippers which allow me to get the pants on without removing my hiking boots. My normal size is medium but these pants run small so I would recommend ordering a size larger.
By Jess from Salt Lake City on 02/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great pants! I have a pair myself and my husband has been jealous of them. I finally got this great deal for Valentines Day. We frequently take long camping trips and these pants are perfect when getting caught in a storm. I stay completely dry.
For the anorexic build only. By Freudor from Avalon on 02/24/2009 Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The pants are fine but the leg diameter and room in the seat on the mens large feels like it was designed for a supermodel.
I am 6 foot with a 34 inch waist and weigh about 200 pounds, just for reference.
For the very thin these pants would be fine.
