By Ma'am's Mom from Boston, MA on 06/30/2009 Pros: Dog Likes It, Fun, Tough Best Uses: Active Dogs, Indoors, Larger Dogs, Outdoors Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The first one I gave her was a thrill for all of us. It was new and stimulating to her (she loves plastic bottles, and often rummages through the recycle bin!) It did not "slime up" the way many of her other toys do. It was tough enough with all those layers to last several weeks with almost constant play before she managed to get to the plastic. Unfortunately, she's a smarty and remembered how to get to the bottle, so the 2nd and 3rd one we bought her did not last as long. She did not want to fetch or play with it, but went straight for the weak spot and once the plastic is reach we have to take it away from her.
Don't judge a book by its cover By Domino from Dayton, Ohio on 04/19/2009 Describe Yourself: Long-Time Pet Owner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought it for my 6 month old Cavapoo. Within 5 minutes he was choking on the loose strings of hemp on the outside edge of the stitching.
Don't judge a book by its cover By Mudder from Dayton, Ohio on 04/12/2009 Cons: Dog choked on loose fiber, Lasted 15 minutes, Poor construction Describe Yourself: Long-Time Pet Owner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: My Cavapoo loved this item and took to it immediately. Unfortunately we took it away from him 15 minutes after we received it because the unraveling jute caused him to choke.

By d-dog from Ft Collins CO on 03/20/2009 Pros: Dogs love chewing it, Lightweight Best Uses: Dogs, Light chewers Describe Yourself: Long-Time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My Bernese mountain dogs instantly loved this toy. They chewed incessantly. Unfortunately they are very strong chewers. Can mow through a strong chewer nylabone after awhile. This lasted about 30min before being completely pulled apart. But at least the dogs had fun. If your dog isn't a powerful chewer I believe this would hold up really well. My dogs destroy a lot of toys. The only thing that has held up is silicone or tennis balls. They chew through rope easily.

How simple a bottle in a burlap bag. Who da' thunk?
