Solid hiking / approach shoe. By volcano cowboy from UP Michigan on 11/08/2008 Pros: Rugged, Versatile, Weather Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are well-made and waterproof. They are stiff at first but once broken in, they offer a great fit. They have a stiffer sole that should be okay for mid-weight backpacking and good ankle support for a low-cut shoe.
