By Nature girl from Milwaukee, WI on 07/23/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Good Polarization Cons: Bulky, Sits too far from face Best Uses: Biking, Driving, Gardening Describe Yourself: Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Tint and polarization seem to be good so far. The rubber nose grip is very deep which pushes the sunglasses forward away from your face making them look bulky. It also decreases the coverage. The nose grips have the logo on them which leaves a bit of impression on your nose. These are not my favorite sunglasses.
good, maybe very good, but not great By GDP from Atlanta, GA on 07/23/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: At The Beach, Casual Wear, Driving, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Modern, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I had a pair of Natives four or five years ago that I loved. Then, about a year and a half ago, I got a pair of Smith Empire Sliders that were very much like them and have been great sunglasses for all kinds of sporting activities. Looking ahead to the day when the Smiths have to be retired, I got these Natives thinking they'd be well-suited for running, biking, tennis, etc. My impression so far (after two weeks or so) is that they're really more for driving, walking, and other low-impact activities. Also, the quality of the lenses hasn't really impressed me. I'm no expert on what makes for a good or great pair of sunglasses, but for me, these don't really generate that feeling of "Wow, I like how these glasses cut the glare and sharpen the focus on the things I see from behind them." Now, they're perfectly adequate sunglasses, and I can't really *complain* about them, but they don't seem to me to be up to the standards (from an optics and fit/finish point of view) of the Smiths that I've gotten from Sierra Trading Post. I had high hopes for these based on my previous experience with Native, but I'm left feeling a little, er, disappointed with these. I'll keep them, however, because I have a weakness for sunglasses and like to have a bunch of pairs to choose from.

By Finicky from Southampton, NY on 07/20/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: At The Beach, Athletics, Casual Wear, Driving, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Haven't tried fishing yet, but these are very comfortable, great for driving and seem pretty stylish to me. The "tech" aspects don't make them too big or bulky and the case with extra lenses and croakie are all great. The fit is fantastic for me and they grip my face just enough to not move around, but not to the point of being uncomfortable at all.

Would work better for a small face. The interchangeable lens were great and the optics were very good.
