Like a truck for your foot By Road warrior from San Diego,CA on 04/12/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Sturdy/Durable, Warm, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold Weather, Heavy Loads, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just used my boots for the first time. Perfect boot for cold weather glacier travel, steep ice and mixed climbing. My feet were warm and comfortable the whole time. The only down side is that these boots have no traction at all on wet or frozen rock if your not wearing crampons. Over all, a very nice boot.

By steph from central mass on 04/06/2009 Best Uses: Cold Weather, Kick stepping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels full size too small, Feels too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots run small. I normally take a mens 7 maybe 7 1/2. I bought these in an 8 hoping that they would run small or I could add an insole to add girth. I was amazed that they fit perfectly! I have heard nothing but good things from my mountaineering companions who wear these boots. My asolo inner boots are starting to wear in the heel, time for another boot, glad these were here at such a great buy.

They are also available with a high altitude for even more warmth.

Sized one half size larger than US and fit great
By curtainclimber from Tacoma, WA on 03/25/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Flexible, Sturdy/Durable, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Heavy Loads Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great all around mountaineering boot. they are on close out here because there putting in the High Altitude liner standard now. If you are going climbing above 6,000m then maybe you want that, otherwise here in the lower 48 their fine. Be careful on the sizing I usually wear an 8 1/2 and I had to go with a 9 1/2 before they would fit. Go try em on elsewhere then order them from here. Great price!
