Runs small & tall is not very tall By Don from Portland, OR on 02/24/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The coat looks awesome. I had to return because the 44 was smaller than 44 and the sleeves on the tall were too short - which has never happened to me before. Again, the coat looks great -- I wish I could wear it!!!
By catcog from Salt Lake City on 02/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cushy, Durable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking, Snowshoeing Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Was looking for a sock without ski sock padding that would be "tall" enough cover the bare space left by too-short longjohns. Also, the size small has the heel right where the heel should be (a problem often with women's size 6.5 feet). So glad to find some tall hiking socks for winter activities. Smartwools are the only outdoor socks I wear.

I bought them because I have another pair of Smart Wool ski socks that I constantly wear. These are just as good. Comfortable and warm but they wick well so your feet don't get all sweaty.
