By Jey from Spartanburg,SC on 05/03/2009 Best Uses: Mountain Biking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Strange fit. The inside shorts with the padding looked and felt like I was wearing mens briefs with an oversized depends that shifted to the front. The outer shorts were very baggy and sagged down. Sent these back.
Headline lengthy - what is "singletrack" By iurz from Omaha NE on 04/24/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good outer fabric, Good Padding Cons: Not bad just too short Best Uses: Long Rides, Road Biking, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These fit me well; I like the loose short and the waist is adjustable. I would prefer the "outer" short to have a little more length and for the "inner" short to be able to be detached. Also, the padding doesn't dry as fast as my other biking shorts. Overall, I like these shorts and would buy more.
By pbq from FL on 04/22/2009 Cons: Irregular Fit, Too Much Padding Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the shorts but they should say order two sizes smaller...they are very big.
By debkakes from santa cruz CA on 04/01/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Not sure what happened with this short. I thought I ordered a Large but got an XL. When I tried them on, though, the undershort was kind of tight, but the outer baggy short was HUGE. I wasn't sure I liked the cut anyway, so I just returned them.
By runner/biker from Columbus, OH on 03/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Padding, Great Fit Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I recommended these to my sister and she bought a pair today
By Jane from Austin on 03/10/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Good Padding, Great Fit Best Uses: Mountain Biking Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are a little big, as other comments suggest. But they do have 'baggy' in their description. I love the fit. The inside padded lining fits snugly while the baggy shorts fit like hip hugger board shorts. Exactly what I wanted. Often I have to buy menswear because the waist on women's shorts is always too high, making them uncomfortable while riding. And pockets in all the right places add to their perfection.
By Summer Rider from Spokane, WA on 03/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Padding Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The lining fits true to size, but the waist of the pants is a bit big.
Which to review--liner or short? By speckled queen from Brooklyn, NY on 02/07/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The pros and cons don't really apply to my review. Here's why:
These shorts felt like the inner liner was a women's small and the outer short was a men's small (though it felt even bigger than that.) The difference between the two was really ridiculous. If the outer short hadn't been attached (removable) they would nearly have fallen off. The inner liner by contrast was a real women's small and fit like I expected it to. The adjustable waist on the short was useless since it adjusted forward with velcro and if I pulled it tight enough to keep the shorts up there wasn't any more velcro to attach the tabs to. I also thought the padding on the liner was supposed to be "light"--instead I found that the padding was the equivalent of a padded seat cover sewn into the liner.
