Comments:
because this shoe does not have a tongue there is no way to adjust the height. The laces are useless because the shoe has seam that runs down the center of the shoe making the shoe very uncomfortable no mater how loose the laces are

Great shoes!!
By Chuck the maniac from Portland, or on 08/03/2009
Pros:
Breathes Well, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stable
Cons:
A bit wide in the heels, But i have narrow heels
Best Uses:
Swimming light hiking
Describe Yourself:
Comfort Driven
Sizing:
Feels true to size
Width:
Feels true to width
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I use these for hiking down a STEEP path to a river and then swimming. I love them! They are light but strong, and don't bog me down for short swims. The heel is a bit wide, so the shoes are a touch sloppy on my feet, but I have narrow heels so you may not have this problem. The ties are stretchy-bands that let me adjust the tightness 'pretty well' but i find that i tug on them all the way. As far as hiking shoes, they work well and I love that they are light instead of klunky. Grip is a bit less than desired, because the soles are kind of hard which will make them wear longer.

Returned them because I didn't like that there was no heel support. They felt very loose. I was expecting something similar to the Newports.

Poor design results in sloppy fit
By NikiVerified Reviewer from Greenville SC on 07/16/2009
Pros:
Looks Great
Cons:
Rear heel strap is flimsy
Describe Yourself:
Comfort Driven
Sizing:
Feels true to size
Width:
Feels true to width
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Because the rear heel strap is loose and stretchy, the shoe is, practically speaking, a sandal. Attempting to tighten the lace simply pushes the foot off the back of the footbed. Best use of this is to cut off the heel strap and leave the lace loose for a sloppy sandal fit. It is not at all appropriate for any sporty use.
