By Chicago Runner from Chicago, IL on 10/12/2009 Pros: Flexible, Lightweight, Stable Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: While I find Saucony's the best shoes for me (have tried all of the brands), I'm mixed on the Progrid Guide. They're light and comfortable but the little strip sewn on the back make the back of the shoe very stiff & they rub my heels raw on both sides. Have never had this problem with any of my other Sauconys (but they don't have the strip sewn on either). Also, these aren't quite as sharp looking as their other models.
