By skier from New Jersey on 02/12/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Downhill, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Purchased a pair for my husband and myself we both love them. They are comfortable easy to move in and have an adjustable waist band. The only thing we found wrong is we are between a sizes so we purchased suspenders for the pants. Now they are perfect. We have skied in both - 0 - 50+ degree weather and they held up in both. We wore a thin insulated layer in the colder weather and wind pants for the warmer weather. The pockets are fine for your wallet, cell, etc. The inner leg venting is great in the warmer weather conditions. I would not hesitate to purchase another spyder product.
"Don't judge a book by its cover" By Jim from Lake Leelanau, MI on 01/12/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Use them for downhill skiing. Through the years I've probably ordered at least a dozen pairs of ski pants for myself, my son or my daughter and if it was a dozen probably returned 10 pair because the inseam is longer than the advertised length. The inseam is always longer than the same length of a pair of pants. You should state that in your description of the product. "inseam runs long, order a shorter inseam"
By David from Skiing in Japan on 12/22/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I can deal with the slightly longer inseam (29 inches) but the overall fit (L size) of the ski-pants was too large for my 35-inch waist. Would like to exchange for a M size to see if it fits better :(
By THEO from danbury, CT. on 12/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish Cons: 29 "short" inseam is too, Long Best Uses: Backcountry, Cross Country, Downhill, Freestyle, Hiking Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: spyder is great stuff...i just wish all these clothing companies would think about us short people more often...i'm 5'7 with a 36 inch waist
i always have to have my ski pants altered to shorten them...after all these years, i'm getting tired of it...why can't they make them shorter?

By skigeezer from New York on 12/15/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Waterproof Cons: Pants too long and baggy Best Uses: Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Probably OK for a teen snowboarder. Not very stylish for anyone else since the pants were so baggy.

By CBob from Salt ake City ,Utah on 11/30/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: When the pants are pulled up to the 29" inseam, the belt line is well above my waist, size M.
By Cpeedworks from Colorado Rockies, 11,000 ft. elevation on 11/18/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Downhill, Freestyle, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants Rock! Lots of pockets. This is a really great benefit. Very comfortable. The adjustable waist fasteners in the back with an elastic band are fantastic. The waist has belt loops too so you can wear a belt if needed. The adjustable waist works great though, so you don't even need the loops. They do come in handy for clipping on extra gear though. There is even a small horizontal loop over the right back pocket that works well for this too. The fit is absolutely amazing. Lots of flexion for freedom of movement, even in the park! These are the best Spyder ski pants I've ever used in this price range. Great buy! Highly recommended!
Top Quality Pants, Fits Right By mojo snowboarder from Hawaii on 10/15/2008 Pros: Good Workmanship, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Downhill, Freestyle Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Was concerned when ordering, as past comments indicated sizing variations. I'm a true 34 and the M fit perfectly. It's roomy in the butt area but not more so than any other pants. Quality is top-notch, what you would expect from Spyder. It feels warm and lightweight. This is a great deal and I recommend it.
