SPYDER NOT DONE GOOD WITH THESE By KAZ MEXICO from GOLDCOAST AUSTRALIA on 05/08/2008 Best Uses: Downhill, Freestyle Describe Yourself: Advanced Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: UNFORTUNETLY THESE WERE VERY LARGE FROM THE CROTCH UPWARDS, REALLY MORE LIKE SNOWBOARDPANTS THAT LOOKED SILLY ON MY HUSBAND, A DEFINITE FAULT WITH SPYDER AS IT LOOKS SO WELL MADE,MAYBE THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN SOLD AS SNOWBOARD"HOMEBOYLOOKING"PANTS
By kc from Seattle, WA on 01/19/2008 Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These are beautiful ski pants, but they must have been mislabeled in the factory because the Large I received was HUGE - literally, a XXL or maybe even XXXL. Needless to say, I am disappointingly sending them back - don't have time to reorder in different sizes.
The other reviewers did not seem to have this problem so perhaps it was just my bad luck, not an overall issue with this model.
These are great ski pants! By Rhett from Seattle, WA on 01/03/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Advanced Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are outstanding ski pants. They are lightweight, but very warm. They move with me as I move down the slopes and there are tons of pockets to use that I'm still getting used to. I have way more than I need! I highly recommend these. They were true to size and inseam and fit me like a glove. I'm on the small, thin side, so most things that I purchase in a small size are still too large. These weren't. They look great too!
Waterproof ans somewhat breathable By Back country gentleman from Canada on 12/17/2007 Pros: Durable, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: More insulation than the average waterproof pants. not breathable enough for very high energy activity. I routinely come in with a lot of moisture on the insides of the legs. Suspenders would be a great asset.
