Spyder sizing is way off! By Outside gal from Park City, UT on 02/12/2009 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Low risers, Poor Sizing Best Uses: Downhill, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are terrific ski pants BUT the waist are low-risers designed to sit on hips! not sure who can ski in that. The size runs 1 - 2 sizes small - cut for those lean and tall gals... if you have that shape, they're wonderful ski pants.
By TD from Seattle, WA on 02/11/2009 Best Uses: Downhill, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Based on other comments, I ordered L (wear women's size 4). Not sure if the size was the problem, but the waist was HUGE...I could pull them down with them still snapped. Could probably have tried a M to solve that problem, but the bigger issue was the low-cut waist. It gapped out when I bent down. My husband laughed and said my pants would FILL with snow on my first fall (using them for downhill skiing). If the waist would have fit I would have LOVED these pants.
By Nici from Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, UK on 05/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Lovely fit. Not yet worn in snow conditions. Will have to wait until next season. I'm confident they will be up to the job. There are no vent zips which I would have expected in this high spec pant.
By Decman from Manchester, England on 04/02/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cross Country, Downhill, Freestyle Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used for Skiiing.
Top quality product. Well worth the money.
accurate description of product By SWA Girl from Alta Loma, CA on 03/03/2008 Pros: Comfortablemoves well Describe Yourself: Advanced Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These seem to run small, as described by others that purchased the pants. As a result I bought a larger than normal size and I am glad I did. The larger size is perfect. These tend to be about a size smaller than what you'd expect. The reviews really assisted me in my choice.
By Barb from Phoenix, AZ on 01/19/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Loved them...skied all day. They were warm and cute. Bonus!
Nice looking, but not practical By Bucky from Salt Lake City on 01/13/2008 Best Uses: Backcountry, Cross Country Describe Yourself: Advanced Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants sit below the belly button, which in my mind make them very impractical for skiing. I just had visions of falling in some powder and snow going up my back. They are also a trim fit. If you wear heavy weight thermals, consider one size larger.
Seems like a great pant... but By Shelley from Garmisch, Germany on 01/09/2008 Best Uses: Downhill, Telemark Describe Yourself: Advanced Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a true Women's Large... but could not get this pant on. It's construction looks wonderful. I wish I could ski in them!
By KK from CT on 01/07/2008 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought these pants for skiing in VT. On a VERY cold day they kept me extremely warm. Highly recommend.
By 1sland from Jefferson , PA on 01/04/2008 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Cross Country, Downhill, Freestyle Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Unfortunatly, we had to send these back for they are too small. Natalie wears a size 6 and we tried med and large and both of these were not big enough.
