By j-dub from Chicago, IL on 01/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Cross Country, Downhill, Hiking, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the long inseam. I am a size 6 in pants, but needed a size 10. That's fine by me, because they are great. I needed 2 pairs of thermals in 30 degree weather, but I'd do that with my other ski pants, too.
By outdoor lover from St. Joseph MI on 01/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish, Warm Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: They fit great, they look great, they are warm, but they are NOT waterproof! Every drop of moisture gets in.
I would purchase them again By Via Outdoors from Flagstaff on 01/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features, Poor Ventilation Best Uses: Backcountry, Cross Country, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'd purchase again - but I'd get them one size larger (unless you like your pants to fit just below your belly button). If you prefer your pants to ride your hips, go one size up.
Great choice for ski pants By Slim the Snowboarder from Denver, CO on 01/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Downhill, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Got these for a ski / snowboard trip and they fit great. Bought a size 8, usually wear a 4-6 in other clothing, but the fit is adjustable enough I had no problems. Can't beat the price for a nice product.
By Kermit from suburban Washington, DC on 01/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: General Mtn top wear, Snow Tubing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I orderd these and the Columbia Femme Fatale ski pants as well for a trip to the Rockies and these fit better and were more stylish and comfortable. I found them to fit fine over long underwear and jeans, but better over long underweat and a smooth knit pant (like a yoga pant). They kept me warm, but not overheated on mountain tops at 12K feet and wiht wind, etc., and while not a skier, I wore them for snow tubing and general wind and waterproof-iness in all the snow. I really liked them. The only downside I found was that I wished for more pockets and/or hooks to put gloves on, etc.
I am 5'9" so often have trouble finding pants long enough, and while these were for wear over other pants and with boots, I still found them to be a good length.
By ski lady from Lexington, MA on 12/24/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Waist is much too tight, but the rest of the fit was fine. I'm a thin, middle-aged woman, there's no reason these pants should not have fit. They must be sizing for 20 year olds.
Teen Daughter VERY HAPPY-how 'bout that! By MollyBoarder from Western NC on 12/19/2008 Pros: Durable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cross Country, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought these for my teenage, snowboarding daughter. She was SO pleased with them! You could never find anything close to this quality for this price anywhere around where we live. I will buy more of these.
By 3 Russells and an Oldenburg from Charlotte, NC on 12/16/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Getting Started Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ski in these and also use them for winter motorcycle riding. I am usually either a 12 or 14 and after reading the other reviews decided on the 14 and they are perfect. Very high waisted in the back, but good to prevent snow getting in since I am a new skier who falls a lot!
