No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for a lined shell for cross country and snowshoeing. This is too much pant - bulky due to lining, and legs are way too long for normal length legs (and would be complicated and expensive to shorten).
Great for cold weather alpine skiing.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For a guy who is 6'4" this ski pant has the longest inseam (34") I have been able to find. Almost all are 30" or 32".
