Good all around downhill ski pants By old ski teacher from Wisconsin on 12/20/2008 Pros: Adjustabel velcro hem in, Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Downhill skiing, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like these pants, the waist is high enough so snow does not get in from under my jacket, the velcro hem in the cuff made it easy to shorten the length, I am 5'2", there is room for layers of long underwear to adjust for cold days on the chair lift, I am happy with them and I have not had a pair of ski pants I liked this much in 14 years!
By Norma from Vermont on 12/17/2008 Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Advertised as a woman's small size 4. Actual size was more like a children's size 12-14. I typically wear a Junior size 0 and so thought that these would actually be a bit large for me. They are extremely short!

Good Snow Pant, Sizing Problem By Stellar from Bay Area, CA on 11/16/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Full Zip, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Bulky, Not Enough Pockets or Features, Poor Sizing Best Uses: Backcountry, Cross Country, Downhill, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted some pants I could not only wear out in the snow, but also on really rainy days over pants so I could stay on my bike through the winter. I read the other reviews saying that these pants ran a little small. I ordered one size up from my normal pant size. When I tried them on, first off, I had to hike them up to the tip top of my waist to get them closed. I'm not used to wearing any article of clothing SO high. Next, when I thought about wearing anything under them, I'd look like a balloon. Now, I'm pretty short, so, if I ordered up, this problem would only get worse. On the bright side, they are warm, lightweight and allow for freedom of movement. If you are 5'4 or above, with a narrow waist, still order a size or two up and these will work well. And there is one small key-pocket in back.

Warm without the weight. They have full zippers down both legs which is not noted in the original details.

High quality, poor sizing By dog-runner from new york on 12/16/2007 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Way too tight on hip Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The sizing just about fits in the waist, but the manufacturer assumes women have no hips. (I'm a size 6, so we're not talking huge, here.)
They would fit a man perfectly, assuming the women's medium = men's small.
Otherwise a high quality ski pant.
By Maggie from Wichita, KS on 12/13/2007 Pros: Durable, Warm, Waterproof Cons: zippers on waistband Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The pants are very warm, fashionable, and functional but the side zippers dig into my waist. I wore them around the house to try them out but will be returning them. Comfort was the only con with this item. It may not bother some people.
