Comments: I returned this product. The quality seemed good, but the pants were extremely high waisted. If you are buying the pants for a female it should be noted that they were over an inch above my belly button. Also, the elastic that goes around your boots didn't seem to have too much stretch to it. I obviously didn't wear them outside, so I can't comment on their performance.

Comments: For skiing in Maine, these will work fine, but I always prefer something a little lighter and looser. Those types breathe better and look like regular pants, whereas these look a bit like puff pants. C+/B-

Comments: I use these pants snow shoeing and winter-time camping. I even have worn them ice-biking. If you are exerting yourself a lot, they may not keep up "breathing" and you may have some moisture retention, but the liner seems to wick that away from your skin. I once opened the cargo pockets to vent some moisture, which worked but at 0 degrees F, I got some frost lining the pockets. Good solid winter time pants.
