I order two pairs, mildly skeptical that wool socks could be comfortable. WOW, I just love them and ordered a pair for my picky husband, too.

I bought them to wear on very cold winter days as everyday socks and as outdoor activity socks. Both the foot and the calf fit well.
By Mountain Mama from CO on 10/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cushy, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these socks to wear daily on cold, snowy winter days. They fit well, are not too tight at the calf, unlike the PHD wool sock. Haven't washed them and haven't had them but a few days, however, they feel wonderful and warm.
