These socks are the best. I gave a pair to each lady in my group during the 2007 holiday season.
I particularly like the low cut design. I have ankle length ones but prefer the low cuts in the warmer weather.

I've always loved the various winter Smart Wool socks for hiking and skiing - like stepping into a cloud! and these are my first summer running Smart Wools: very good at blister control!
