The check pattern is small enough that it looks like a solid color from a short distance. I've had great luck with all the Martin Gordon products I've purchased here, this one is no exception.

This shirt just squeaks onto the hit side for sizing. I've had some that are too tight in the chest/shoulders, and some that are ample.The fabrics, colors and designs are definitely not run of the mill.
