Very good deal, and I love the flexibility - I wear it apart as much as I wear it together.
Actually, it's May, and on cold days I still use one of the layers on this jacket.
Recommend.
By TapperGirl from Pennsylvania on 04/18/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Stylish, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Spring coat Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was searching around in stores for after season specials of Columbia jackets to not find any. Then, I went on-line and saw that Sierra Trading Post had one advertised for a very reasonable price. It was the kind I was looking for and after trial and error with trying on other coats I knew that I needed an XL size. I would recommend doing the same if you are uncomfortable with ordering sizes from the internet without trying them on first. Its a great color, and very confortable. I use it all the time now (springtime here in PA now), and I'm sure it will work great in the winter also.

By Mom with new jacket from Lyndon, Vermont on 04/07/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's a really nice looking jacket - a bit snug in the shoulders, but otherwise the jacket fits great. I might have needed to order the next size up - not sure, but kept the medium.

By shopping mom from FPO AP on 03/24/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is very sporty, I love the orange (tang) color. Great for winter with the liner or spring without the liner. I'm 5'7" 135 lb and the medium is perfect with lots of room to layer underneath.
By Bogachiel Beth from Olympic Peninsula Washington State on 03/24/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Easy zip-in liner coat, Easy zippers, Good Pockets, Looks trim over layering, Nice hood, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: Prefer darker color liner, Too much white trim color Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Hiking, Shipboard cruise wear, Snowshoeing Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I spend most of my time in outdoor environments and backcountry situations but I am also a woman who enjoys fashion and does not like to look ragged or disheveled while I'm at it. I travel on trains and cruise ships and I wanted a coat that could meet the versatile demands of various situations. I like to pack light. I would not consider this coat for a long distance trek where every ounce on my back is closely measured but for most the of things I do this coat will be perfect. I appreciated the great STP price for such a fine product. It would be better if the white accent pieces were not along the zipper, collar, and backpack belt rub area on the sides. It will be the part that will make the coat look shabbier, sooner than the rest of the garment.
