Am so happy that STP carries this brand at such a discount. My big toes don't wear through b/c the socks are so well made and true to size. I order them every chance I get. They are great for hot weather; I sleep in a pair. Can't say enough good things about SmartWool.
By Sundae from Ocala,FL on 05/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Wicks Away Moisture Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been wearing this brand for quite awhile, they are the perfect all around sock. I don't want to wear anything else and I am glad that Sierra Trading Post has them at a price I can afford.
By cate from seattle on 05/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Stylish, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Cycling, Daily Use, Exercise walking, Travel, Working Out Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love smartwool sox in all varieties. I use them primarily for working out/classes at the gym; cycling; exercise walking; skiing, snowshoeing. I even wear them for sleep sox sometimes. The sox are comfortable; they wick moisture; I have not experienced blistering or chafing wearing them. I have worn smartwool for at least the past 10 years, and still have some of those first pairs, albeit they are not as soft any more and the elastic finally gave way in the ankles of some of them. As for ski sox, they are the best - the extra padding is in the proper places for my foot.
Always happy with SmartWool By GRITS (girl raised in the south) from Mississippi on 05/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Stylish, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Daily Use, Hiking, Running, Travel, Working Out Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: SmartWool socks are very comfortable and they are more durable than most other socks. They stay in place well. SmartWool socks do seem to shrink a bit during the wash/dry cycle, but not so much that it affects the wearability. I have worn SmartWool socks for years and will continue to do so. I would happily recommend these!!
