The stretch lets it fit over shirts and under jackets. I haven't used it yet, but it looks like it will be a great find. I chose the green which I liked....more muted than picture shows.

I would suggest ordering a size up, especially if you intend to layer this.

But I was expecting it to have mor bulk for a hoodie. I decided to return it because I have the buzz off hat and shirts(baja) and this is too thin to be of use for me. It runs a little small, so I ordered the next size up and it fits perfectly. Fun color, great style and soft fabric.

I didn't get one bug bite on a four day trip---very unusual for me! It felt stylish as well as practical.

1) The zipper is extremely difficult to get started, but it works fine once you get it started, and
2) Wearing the hood makes you look like a mega dork.
The positives...
1)It's very lightweight, not what I would think of as a "sweatshirt." But it's perfect for camping when it's hot out. You can protect yourself from mosquitos in the evening without passing out from heat exhaustion.
2) It seems to work pretty well at keeping the mosquitos at bay, although your exposed parts are still vulnerable.
3)As long as the hood is down, it has a pretty nice look to it. It's fitted and comfortable. And the back comes a bit lower than the front. I like the way it looks on.
