It's nice and warm and is a perfect top layer for hikes. Love this shirt.
By justmartha from Socorro, NM on 11/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Outdoor Activities, Work Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I will use this on those winter days when I want to curl up in a nice fleece and stay warm or when I want to be outside without too many layers. The shirt is a little heavier than I was expecting so might be too warm for all but the coldest part of our desert winters. On the good side, it has a nice, slightly trim cut, and the outer face of the fabric is not fuzzy. Fleece tends to attract every piece of grass or hay or animal hair that is around so I look for things that are only fleecy on the inner face. The colors are nice. I ordered a medium and a large and sent the large back.
By suenwi from Madison, WI on 11/12/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Runs small as noted by others. I normally wear a small or Medium. I ordered both a med. and a large. the medium was way too small. The large was O.K. - just not special enough to keep - so I returned both. The product seems reasonably well made for the money.
By Trekking Granny from MN on 11/10/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This fleece shirt is comparable in weight and bulk to a beefy cotton sweatshirt, i.e. NOT a light-weight layer. But it looks so trim and feels so good I got two in different colors. They are a little bulky for air travel, but I'll enjoy them at home and in the car.
By orangetiki from Annapolis, MD on 10/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: i ordered a size large (sometime I order an XL for bust) and found that it fit perfectly. the fleece lining makes the shirt super comfortable. I've found myself just putting on a thin liner underneath and using this as a jacket. much cuter than a sweatshirt!
By birdwatcher from Oklahoma on 10/24/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fabric is heavy fleece that is knit on outside.
By Jen loves dogs from wyoming on 10/24/2009 Best Uses: Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The sweater is very heavy and bulky. I liked the color but I didn't like the fit. It wasn't flattering and too big.
By olyjen from Olympia, WA on 10/23/2009 Best Uses: Cold weather, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This item is listed under Women's Hiking/Travel shirts so I believed it was a "shirt". It is NOT a shirt, it is a VERY HEAVY sweater type garment that I could only imagine wearing outside during a non-strenous activity. If I wanted a sweater I still wouldn't have liked it because it has a very boxy, not flattering, cut.
By Summer from Central FL on 10/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fits snug, which I like. Has a feminine cut to it that's flattering. Good for under a jacket or on its own on not so cold days.
