If you're petite & full figured By Ponyxpress from Long Island, NY on 04/29/2009 Pros: It's slimming, Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: Not breathable, Poor Ventilation, Too slim in the hip area Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Colder days, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The style looks great on me & is a beautiful jacket with all the HIDDEN pockets, The shoulders fit well but is tight around the hips about an 1-2 inches for the full figure women. (I bought a medium & am a size 12. I can zipper it.) The back has a nice flap at the butt area. The strap at the wrist, if it was an inch higher would allow the sleeves to be shortened for the petite women otherwise the strap would be at the very end of the sleeve when the sleeves were shortened. The jacket fit is more for the slim hipped girl-average to tall in height The jacket does not breath so wearing it all day is not feasable in the warm months. I would want to use this jacket all day & year round. I wish ex officio extends their size choices for the shorter/wider women. I like the jacket & am deciding to keep it or send it back.
By A.J from Ireland on 04/23/2009 Pros: Breathable, Hood, Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, everyday Describe Yourself: Collegiate/Pro Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wanted a functional waterproof with a little more style that had a hood!!! Our weather is wet & windy, hats & umbrellas don't cut it. This looks & feels just right.
By Wet in Seattle from Seattle, WA on 04/23/2009 Pros: Durable, Nice hood, Stylish, Waterproof Cons: Rear slits, Snug fit Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a stylish raincoat but has some odd features: small zip pockets, rear slits (not windproof), snug fit. There is no lining, so it feels rubberized on the inside. Probably not very breathable--it is not a hiking jacket.
YOU CAN HAVE THE MOST STYLISH RAINCOAT!! By Judy from North Bend, WA on 04/17/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear this coat all the time, casual & dressy! The color goes with everything. It's the most versatile coat I have ever owned.
By Elizabeth from Madison, WI on 04/13/2009 Pros: Big pockets, Stylish, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for coat that would look a little dressier than my technical coats. I still wanted pockets that could hold my keys, coin purse and cell phone. This works well.
I wouldn't recommend this coat if you have short arms. I have long arms so I appreciate the extra length.
Had to return this item... By Shopper from Wausau, WI on 04/08/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice jacket but not as long as I expected.Sleeves seemed long enough but it runs a little small.I ordered the xl but I would not have been able to wear a sweater or sweatshirt underneath. I would normally get a 14/16 because I like a roomier fit. Had to return this item as it fit a bit too close to the body.Price was a little steep for the quality.
By Karen from Minnesota on 03/25/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear for work Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered my usual size, medium, but it was too large. The small fits just right (I'm about a size 10.)
By daogirl from LA, CA on 03/07/2009 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have worn this in a downpour and not gotten wet. Looks good - the cut is loose enough to layer under without being baggy or shapeless. The coat is surprisingly thin and lightweight, and even though it doesn't have extra insulation, it kept me pretty warm. It has lots of pockets - there's one zipper pocket on the inside that's perfect for safely stowing my passport when I'm in London this spring. If it rained here more often, I'd buy other colors!
By Tra1020 from Seattle, WA on 03/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ample fit, enough to have a vest on underneath. The material is nice, not stiff. Rain just beads off. Hand pockets have soft lining, plus there are 2 zipper chest pockets. Very comfortable.
By Picky Philly Shopper from Philladelphia suburbs on 02/24/2009 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for a waterproof jacket that was a little dressier and more stylish than my north face shell. This one fit the bill. It is casual, has more style. Plus I can wear it with layers underneath, which is necessary because it is not warm on its own!
