Nice shorts but go up a size By Robundle from Atlanta, GA on 07/09/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Running/Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Beautiful shorts, but you may need to go up a size. If you have any curves at all, try the next size up. I normally wear an 8 or 10 -- ordered a 10, and I think I need a 12. I'm going to try again. These are really nice and I think the larger size will work.
By BigSky from Sunbury, Ohio on 07/04/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight Cons: Bad Color, Chafes, Rear view unbecoming Best Uses: Backpacking, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Waist a bit too high, the hook/eye type closure is not covered enough, due to thin fabric and feels uncomfortable on belly. The rear is unflattering, due to high waist and thinner material - not adequate coverage behind. If pockets were more noticeable or on outside of garment, it might not be as bad.
By Krae the Outdoor Friend from Spokane, Wa on 06/21/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Running/Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am very hard to fit when it comes to pants due to the size and musculature of my backside, hips and thighs. I have bought varying sizes in Exofficio and was worried about ordering these without trying them on first. I am usually a 12-16 so I took a chance on a 14 which is my most common size. They fit very well and are super comfy. At first I was a bit worried by them being tight but after wearing them in front of my DAD who is my biggest tight critic I knew I would keep them when he said "those are very nice shorts." If you like things loose I would recommend ordering a size up but if you want them to "fit" or look professional I would order your normal size. They move well and can be worn to work or on a hike which makes them PERFECT! I am definitely ordering another pair... when I get paid.

By BigSky from Ohio from Sunbury, Ohio on 06/19/2009 Pros: Breathable, Clean Lines, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight Best Uses: Anytime shorts, Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Running/Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As with most short's sizing, I have learned to go up one size, say from capri or pants - same brand. I take a 10 in Ex Officio shorts, an 8 in their capri or pant. At 5'8" and 135 lbs, with a similar waist to hip ratio, I find this brand perfect.
