Comments:
Like most Komperdell products, this balaclavas is well made. The fleece in the interior keep you warm and fuzzy while the slick exterior allows helmets, hats, goggles and collars to slide on with no problem. The material is dense and tight but soft and form fitting. Defintely suitable for the coldest weather in New England.

For women, be sure to order smaller. Mine was a bit loose around the face, so didn't offer enough protection from the wind. Fabric felt very soft and smooth.

Comments:
Wore this for three hours on a wet cold three hour ride through the Sierras on my motorcycle. Was only wearing a helf-shell motorcycle helmet and goggles, so while my goggles were filling up with water and everything got soaked the balacava kept me warm and my ears out of the wind. Only would come up to my chin, (mouth and nose left exposed), but then I have a big fat head.
