By King Grump from NYC. NY on 09/19/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Easily, Good Fit, Good Protection, Warm Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Like most Komperdell products, this balaclavas is well made. The fleece in the interior keep you warm and fuzzy while the slick exterior allows helmets, hats, goggles and collars to slide on with no problem. The material is dense and tight but soft and form fitting. Defintely suitable for the coldest weather in New England.
By Rocky Mtn Skier from Pasadena, CA on 04/12/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Easily, Good Protection, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For women, be sure to order smaller. Mine was a bit loose around the face, so didn't offer enough protection from the wind. Fabric felt very soft and smooth.
Warm, Wind-Resistant, Flexible! By Mr. Needs to Buy Full-Face Helmet Duh. from Fresno, California on 03/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Easily, Good Fit, Good Protection, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wore this for three hours on a wet cold three hour ride through the Sierras on my motorcycle. Was only wearing a helf-shell motorcycle helmet and goggles, so while my goggles were filling up with water and everything got soaked the balacava kept me warm and my ears out of the wind. Only would come up to my chin, (mouth and nose left exposed), but then I have a big fat head.

It has a great fit and does not make you too warm, even when worn under a light weight ski hat.
