By Ello from SW Michigan on 06/16/2009 Pros: Highly Adjustable, Lightweight Cons: Giant foam on tail end Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: overall too large, and the GIANT portion of foam/tail shape just looks and feels silly. bought two-- one for me, one for my husband... neither of us liked them-- returned both. better luck next time, Giro
Much sturdier than my old Giro helmet By Doublee-a2 from Austin, Texas on 06/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable Fit, Good Ventilation, Highly Adjustable Best Uses: Mountain Biking Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ride both mountain and road bikes and use different Giro helmets for the two. My previous Giro MTB helmet had Velcro for the head sizing that came unglued from the Styrofoam causing the helmet to become loose. This new version has plastic snaps embedded in the Styrofoam, which I believe will be more durable. Gave it 4 stars since only time will tell if the snaps hold up to multiple uses!
By bostonboyo from norwood, ma on 05/27/2009 Pros: Good Ventilation, Lightweight, Tough Cons: Straps not to comfortable Best Uses: Mountain Biking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: on a up side, this helmet has a lot of air vents which really helps when your out on a moderate / hot day because that extra air really does cool you down some. on a down side, the straps are not too comfortable, but you'll get use to it after awhile. other than that.. its a good helmet for the $$
By BandanaMan from Tacoma, WA on 05/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable Fit, Good Ventilation, Highly Adjustable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Take a few minutes to properly adjust your new helmet and off you go! Visor removal works great for transition from mountain to road biking.
By The Donger from Rancho Cucamonga, CA on 05/12/2009 Pros: Convenient back-of-head adjustment, Good ventilation, Lightweight Best Uses: Mountain biking, Road cycling, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great ventilation on this helmet. Once I positioned the chin strap correctly, it was easy to adjust the strap system.
Very lightweight compared to cheaper helmets. Visor snaps on/off easily. Do yourself a favor and buy this lid.
Great helmet for the price. By CB from Philadelphia, PA on 05/07/2009 Pros: Convenient back-of-head adjustment, Durable, Good ventilation, Lightweight, Nice fit system/pads Best Uses: Road cycling, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The helmet is comfortable, lightweight and easy to adjust. My only comment is that it's a bit cheap looking. I got the grey and it's not very impressive looking. But, if you are the kind of cyclist like me who cares more about the fit and comfort..... you'll love it.
By B Cool from NW, Illinois on 05/04/2009 Pros: Convenient back-of-head adjustment, Good color, Good ventilation, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday riding, Mountain biking, Road cycling, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purposely purchased this helmet one size too large so that I could wear skull hats, buffs, and other "tools" of the trade under the helmet as well. The helmet adjustments were diverse enough so that I could make it small enough to fit "naked" while still allowing room for the other gear as well. Also, love the colors

Good fit, lightweight, stylish. Great ventilation.
