It is super cozy and fits me extremely well. I am 6 2 160lbs and the medium fits me perfectly, no extra baggage but not to tight. The most amazing part is how well the jacket fits my neck when zipped up all the way, it is cut amazingly well (unless you have a really meaty neck).
It is Polartec Wind material on most of it except 1/4 of the sleeve and underarm. That is powerstrech, which is probably more breathable (for good reasons) than the Wind resistant material. The quality seems great and I don't expect it to pill up anytime soon.
The fleece is not super thick and puffy which means it isn't ridiculously warm, and it isn't supposed to be. All wind resistant/stretch fleece materials aren't as warm as normal fleece, but are more versatile. Laugh at all the denali wearers when the wind picks up.
Keep in mind this is a pullover, meaning no features like waist cord, or pockets. If you're ok with that than get it, it's soooo worth the money, and it looks good. My girlfriend is jealous.

It seems to be a good layering hoodie.
By JCG from SE MN on 03/15/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a good mid layer over a light base layer for cool days and under an insulated jacket for cold weather. Looks to be well made, and of a durable material. Theres a seam around the base of the neck that is a little tight on me, but it does help the hood to move with my head, instead of my head turning inside the hood. Would be better if there was some elastic around the face edge of the hood. The long zipper is great for venting. I'm a size large and ordered an XL, it fits good.

The only problem I have with it, or any other Mammut product for that matter, is that all of their clothing runs a size small. I'm 6'2 and about 220lbs. I normally wear and XL in everything else but an XXL in Mammut. The XXL fits great however. It's trim through the mid-section and not loose and billowy like most other XXL stuff I've tried on.
By Dogs are my hiking partners from San Francisco, CA on 01/03/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking, Outdoor Activities, Travel, Under a Gortex shell, Work Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'd give this a 5 star but I really don't like it when Mammut sticks over sized logos on their stuff. I'd compare the weight and stlye of this shirt to Capilene 3 but a little less stretchy and a lot nicer looking and better wind protection. As with most things Mammut for your torso you need to go up a size. I normally wear a large and bought this in an XL. It fits perfect. This is a great outer layer on an above 55' F day but the best use thus far has been as a mid layer under Gortex shells. I hate Gortex hoods and this hood reduces the clamy, cool hood feeling as well as noise and echo
