By Smudge from Midland, Michigan on 01/19/2009 Cons: Delicate, Low Quality Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The base is too light to be sturdy...can't easily pull off a paper towel with one hand. The wooden spire is also quite crooked on mine so it lists badly to one side. The base is much larger than I expected and the whole contraption looks odd, in my opinion. Pinecone finial is cute.

So, when changing paper towels from empty to full, you must be careful that it does not spin off and break. Also, the base is ceramic as well so be careful with it around any children!
