So we decided to return them. My other daughter tried the shoe on (loved them too), it was a size too small for her, but didn't hit her ankle bone, so may just depend on the kiddo.

My granddaughter thought they were really good looking. And the arch is very supportive, construction is good.
But it the kid can't keep them on what good are they?

I was looking for shoes that would look appropriate for an adult, not too childish, and also I wanted it to be not too fancy, so these are perfect for me. They are very comfortable and look so nice with almost any outfit. I also bought another pair for my 7 year old daughter and it has a perfect fit. We love these shoes!

She loves them! She has very narrow feet and these fit very well. The only downside is the sole on the previous pair came unglued within a few weeks of wear. I was able to re-glue them, but still, not what you'd expect from a pair of shoes that retails for over $60!

These shoes seem to be wide enough. I was looking for something feminine but NOT pink and that would hold up to active use, but not look boyish. These fit the bill. They're neutral enough, will look good with or without socks, go with skirts or capris, and meet the closed shoe rule at her daycare. Time will tell how they feel over the long haul, but for the price I paid here on STP, they can't be beat!
