By Bree the Broke from Los Angeles, CA on 10/15/2009 Pros: Good Capacity, Retains Temperature, Unique Design Cons: Not so impact resistant Best Uses: Camping, Everyday, Gym, Hiking, River Trips Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This little bottle is a great size to tuck into your purse or a small backpack. I love that I can fit ice cubes into the wide mouth of this bottle! Water stays cold for a VERY long time!
Unfortunately, it arrived with a little dent in the side. Dent-proof it is not... but it hasn't impacted the performance of the bottle. Still love it!
By busy mom from Puyallup, WA on 09/04/2009 Pros: BPA Free, Good Capacity, Impact Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought 2 of these for my grade-school aged boys to take in their lunch bags. They are the perfect size and easy for them to open/close. Great buy at 1/2 the regular retail price.
By MummyT from Sewickley,PA on 06/14/2009 Pros: Impact Resistant, Retains Temperature, Slim Design, Unique Design Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wish that I would have ordered the same container in a larger size, 12 ounce capcity is too small, I need to keep refilling the container at work.
By Toboggan sled and ski from Northern NH on 04/22/2009 Pros: Impact Resistant, Slim Design Best Uses: Everyday, Hiking Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great water bottle. Small size is perfect for my young children. The top is easy for them to take off and put on by themselves. I do wonder about the safety of the plastic-y "Eco-Conscious Inner food-grade coating" though.
Good, basic water bottle. By busy mom from Texas on 04/05/2009 Pros: Good Capacity, Impact Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This waterbottle is a good size to fit in a smaller 'drink' refrigerator. I looked up this type of bottle on another site, and the coating is polyaramide. It's an inert material that lines the bottle probably to help prevent mold, or prevent citrus juices from affecting the aluminum.
By Peetee from Chiloquin,OR on 03/03/2009 Pros: Good Capacity, Impact Resistant Best Uses: Everyday, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am trying to "get off" plastic bottles. This helps. Most metal bottles are much bigger.
What is the "inner coating"? By Abe from Austin on 02/13/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have several aluminum canteens and none of them have a coating on the inside. I would like more info about the "food grade coating" of this one. I don't want any kind of plastics based stuff coming in contact with water.
