By Misplaced Rob from Quad Cities, IA on 09/14/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Durable, Good Polarization, Good Protection Best Uses: Casual Wear, Driving, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The rose tint is nice on sunny and bright cloudy days, and the frames are stylish. The tortoise shell is only apparent in bright conditions, the frame appears black indoors.
The Serengeti logo at the corner of the right lens is distracting at first, but after wearing for 45 minutes or so on the first wearing, I no longer noticed it. I don't notice it at all on subsequent wearings.
The polarization is strong. If you rotate an LCD (or your head) 45 degrees it will "black out". You can also get interesting rainbow effects from light reflecting off or passing through curved surfaces (e.g. curved car windows). This is not as annoying as it sounds, and also becomes less noticeable over time.
These glasses are heavy, and the bridge of my nose got a little sore after a 7 hour drive.
By LivRLovR from Berkeley, CA on 09/09/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Driving, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Modern, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: So far have only had these glasses for one day so am not sure how they do with activities other than driving and walking around town, but they are very stylish and the rosy tint is not TOO rosy, which is what I had been worried about. They are just right for what I was looking for.
By HappyGal from Los Angeles, CA on 09/09/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Polarization, Good Protection, Scratch Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Driving, Travel Describe Yourself: Career, Classic, Comfort-Oriented, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The glasses are a nice fit. Although the frame/style is a bit square for my face, I like the overall look and feel. They are not too heavy and the only thing that would make these super comfortable is rubber nose grips/pads (keep from slipping on hot days). The sale price at the time was quite a steal for the quality. They come in a nice case and chamois included! Overall, I couldn't have made a better investment.
By pinhead from bend, or on 09/06/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Durable, Good Polarization, Good Protection, Lightweight, Scratch Resistant Cons: Heavy, Too Small, Uncomfortable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Driving, Special Occasions, Travel Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the glasses, I have a small face and these fit very tight. I will recommend them cause they are nice glasses, just that the fit is small.
Lenses are wonderful, odd fit By T from Heber City, UT on 09/01/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Good Polarization, Good Protection, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Driving Describe Yourself: Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like these glasses, the fit is odd, they don't hit on my nose how I am used to. I am not sure if I will adjust or they will always bug me. I hope I adjust, because they are great.

By Frequent Buyer in Santa Fe from Santa Fe, NM on 08/11/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Excellent Optics, Good Polarization, Good Protection, Scratch Resistant Best Uses: At The Beach, Casual Wear, Driving, Special Occasions, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Modern, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Serengeti optics are the best! And the styles are excellent too -- including the Sarca. Looks great with tortoise shell frames, big rectangular lenses, wide temples -- reminds me of Onassis a bit! Good driving and outdoor sunglasses -- although the wide temples offer protection from the side, they also do bloc some peripheral vision when driving. But the photocromic and polarized lenses are great and relax your eyes for long hours of comfortable sunglass wearing.
I've added this to the big Serengeti collection I've accumulated from Sierra Trading Post! Excellent pricing and discounts!
