By TM the traveler from Eastern Shore Maryland on 03/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Daily Use, Hiking, Mountaineering, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got these socks to wear under heavy wool socks while skiing. They worked great for that and more. I actually ended up wearing them under regular socks every day while trudging around Germany and Switzerland. They added warmth and comfort without too much bulk. The only thing that detracts from the rating is that one set actually "ran" the first time they were washed. I don't know if this was the result of a flaw that caused them to be considered "seconds" or if they're just fragile in general. Even still, these are great liners for a good price.

Does what it says By Walker from Atlanta, GA on 03/17/2009 Pros: Regulates Temperature Well, Wicks Away Moisture Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The socks kkep my feet warm when worn under my regular socks for walking in very cold temperatures.
By BetSea from NJ on 03/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Wicks Away Moisture Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Made a recent New Hampshire skiing trip very comfortable. Wore the socks alone with the ski boots; wicked away moisture (feet perspire a lot!) incredibly. At the end of a 5 hours, the socks were wet but feet were not clammy. Note: Although these are seconds (package is marked appropriately), I did not see any obvious reason why.
By lance eagle from Fairbanks, AK on 03/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Backpacking, Daily Use, Hiking, Mountaineering Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Inexpensive liner sock.
By wdave from Long Island, NY on 03/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Regulates Temperature Well, Wicks Away Moisture Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Toe seam is large - can be a problem with some shoes. Keep my feet warm (layered) on winter walks.
Not what I expected but they work. By Ginger Bird from Boulder, CO on 02/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Wicks Away Moisture Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I would have liked them to be a bit longer, and they are not as well made as I need them to be. They snag easily. They work as liners but I think they will wear out quickly.
