I expect to wear the jacket with solid slacks, too. The cut of the jacket is flattering, as it nips in at the waist. The pleats add feminine detail. The fabric feels soft and natural. I normally wear a 4P, but petite sizing was not available, so I had to have the sleeves shortened as expected.
