By b1bbone from Utah on 07/19/2009 Cons: Horrible Design, Overall Functionality, Poor Craftmanship, Unstable Best Uses: I wouldn't use it Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this tripod because of the 360 degree swivel mechanism (ball on top of the bipod). Which worked flawlessly, and as intended. But the bipod also has the option of adjusting/leaning (on the ball) 45 degrees to the right or left. It was this left to right motion that made me return this product, due to the fact that it couldn't support the overall weight of the gun. I found my self fighting the bipod to keep it straight and level. The gun kept wanting to lean to the right or the left! It was so annoying! If you had the ability to tighten the ball down so it would lean right or left, I might have given it 3 stars!! Save yourself some time and headache and avoid this all together (unless you enjoying looking at a 45 degree angle through your scope!) I decided to buy a Harris Bipod and couldn't be happier! Although it is more expensive. Sometimes what you pay for is what you get!!
By dexter from San Jose, CA on 07/09/2009 Pros: Light weight, Low price Cons: Extremely stiff, Not the best instrucitons Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Without propper instructions and an overly stiff ball joint, I thought it was going to break before I figured out how to work the mechanism. Pay double for a Harris may be a better option.
