They are light on the face for extended periods of wear without discomfort and provide adequate polarization for bright sunlight and/or reflective situations. In short, these are the third pair of Costa del Mars that I have purchased, and compare favorably with Maui Jim offerings.

Thereafter purchased these for myself, and am not disappointed. They are comfortable and light enough for all day wear, yet provide excellent sun protection and image guality. Another Costa Del Mar winner.

Nice and light, but doesn't hold up. I had worn my bronze tint glasses fishing and left them in the trunk when I was driving down the road. I went about a mile and pulled over. I found the sunglasses face down and feared the worse. :( YES - they were scratched up and I am MAD! Oh, well: live and learn. :P
In the past, all my other polarized sunglasses have been GLASS lenses and they are heavier, but much more durable/less likely to be scratched IMHO.
I will just keep these in the car for driving now. I don't trust them for durability now!

The lenses are as good as any I've owned. Truly excellent. The glasses are also VERY light and extremely comfortable. Overall an excellent pair of shades. Durability remains to be determined. They are rimless and very light, I hope this does not mean flimsy. They seem very well constructed.
