Nice idea, but badly made By Rob G from Oakland, CA on 04/02/2009 Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The zipper failed first time I used it. It’s a very cheaply made one, and it promptly got stuck...with me in it. Trapped. My friends think it was worth the price of the chair to witness this, but you may not. I didn’t. We had to forcibly blow the slider off. I might try a real slider (this was made out of cheap metal; the pull actually bent), but if it doesn’t work it’s going back.
By The Fish from Ohio on 03/31/2009 Best Uses: Outside by the fire Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great for camping or just sitting by the fire in the backyard. The chair is quite comfortable. Can easily remove the sleeping bag if not needed.
Why didn't someone think of this before! By Richard from Oxford, OH on 03/19/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is an excellent product. It is perfect for watching from the sidelines on a crisp fall day, sitting on the deck waiting for Spring to spring, or sitting in the woods watching birds. After I tried this out I ordered two more to give as gifts!
Love it but it's confusing By Savy shopper from Mpls, Mn on 03/02/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Heck-of-a-deal, One of a kind find, Warm cozy Cons: Bulky, Complicated to pack, Large compared to others, No instuctions Best Uses: Camping, Outdoor events, Outside Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this chair!! I rushed it into the house, opened it right up and sat in it and watched tv. It's so comfy, warm and a heck of an idea! The area to get your arms in and out are a lil high up, but if you think about it it does serve the purpose of keeping you bundled. The hood is wonderful and for a chilly night it's going to be perfect. You can very easily get your hands and arms free quickly if you need too. There are 2 cup holders one on each arm and they seemed to be insulated but am not sure. The sleeping bag portion does zip off the chair, but I couldn't figure out to actually remove it completely with out having to cut the bottom attachments that hold the bag to the chair legs. It is a fully functionable sleeping bag and you could use it for sleeping in, the foot compartment maybe a little chilly on the feet due to the fabric on the bottom portion but the top is all sleeping bag material, honestly with summer camping who sleeps in the bag anyhow...you would probably just use it for a padding to lay on really. The foot compartment is an exceptional quality of heavy duty rubber rafting type of fabric and could withstand a ton of abuse. If I was traveling extreamily light I would just bring this chair because the sleeping bag is definately good enough to use to sleep in unattached from the chair. I haven't used it outside yet, but know it will be perfect. I think this will be able to take abuse from the kids and last for years. I now own 2 and am looking to getting more. The only bad thing is I couldn't fold it properly to fit it back into the storage bag. I will be looking for the manufacture info so I can get instructions on how to pack it up!
