Woolskins by Terramar Merino Wool T-Shir By Ridgerunner from Nashville, TN on 06/09/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Lightweight, Odor control Cons: Piling from backpack stra Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Running/Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased this shirt for backpacking to control odors vs. the synthetic shirts that I have used. The Merino wool in this shirt performs much better at this.
I did notice that after one backpacking trip that the shirt shows wear where the backpack sholder straps had rubbed.

Well made, good looking and versatile By Z the cyclist from Portland Oregon on 06/08/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Running/Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This piece is really well made, very nice looking, and has all the great benefits of merino wool - durable, wicks well, and doesn't retain odor - you can wear this piece for weeks on end without odor or discomfort.
My only negative is a very small one - the fit is looser than the long sleeve mock zip and the crew neck versios from Terramar. I believe it was designed that way, since the other pieces are definitely meant as base layers. I wish it were a bit more snug, and that the short sleeves were a little closer fitting, but some may prefer it that way. I own a lot of short sleeve pieces from Icebreaker, and they are really gorgeous, with a near perfect slim fit. However, the Terramar is much nicer quality than you might expect, and works very well.
I am happy to have both brands in my collection, and impressed with the quality and value from Terramar. It's nice enough for me to wear as a classy shirt under a sport coat, so you can believe it is both high quality and extremely versatile.
It could easily be a 5, especially when you consider value. I'm giving it a 4 only to give Icebreaker their rightful place at the top!

A little heavier than I imagined. More like light/mid weight shirt. I will just use it in cool weathers.
By Kuba from New Haven, CT on 06/03/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Backpacking, Running/Hiking Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For the price, this is a nice high quality merino wool t-shirt. however, the sizing is wrong, I would recommend sizing down. I am 5'10" and 160 lbs and Medium was way too large. Small fits okay, but I would prefer a tighter fit.
