Comments:
I'd been wanting a camera bag I could carry my large 180mm macro lens in, and the tote part on top is perfect for that. I can also include a few other items, such as a fold-up reflector. The bag is well made, but a bit heavy, as the rubber bottom that projects it from wet ground isn't light, but is welcome nevertheless. Also, I could have wished for reinforced sides on the bottom half where the camera and lenses go, as the tote part on top mashes it down a bit. This accounts for four stars rather than five, but it was an excellent deal at about 50% off, and I would even consider paying full price for it.

Comments:
I was hoping to use this as a camera bag to carry my SLR around town/outings and also be able to fit in few other items (wallet, keys, phone, etc.) But it was just way too big for that kind of use. The bottom compartment on this bag has enough room for an SLR plus about 4 additional lenses (depending on size of the lenses.) And then the top compartment can hold a good amount of extra, loose stuff. This would make a good bag to carry all your gear if you were just transporting your gear to a specific place, not for carrying around with you for an outing. I just wish it had been 30% smaller.

Excellent storage for camera and other items at a great price. It is described as a small but is actually quite roomy. Will hold an SLR and 2 lens and the upper compartment will hold other travel necessities. Nice looking also.

Comments:
As with many Mountainsmith products, this camera bag is well made. However, it is huge for a "small" bag. You could easily fit multiple SLR bodies, plus an assortment of lenses in the bag and still have room for your lunch, tripod, etc. It is to big for our uses, but others might find it perfect.

Bought a similar camera pack @ a well know outdoor store and paid nearly [$]for it. The item from STP cost less, is better made, and stores more camera equip. Looks great and provides superb protection for camera and lens.

I really like this bag. It has room for my SLR and extra lens plus room for my smaller digital camera. It also holds chargers for both and has room in the top compartment for instruction booklets. I could also dispense with my purse and put wallet and keys in it. I like that there is a latching strap in addition to the zipper for the camera compartment. I makes it a lot more secure than the velcro on my old camera bag. I am very happy with this purchase.
