Glad someone finally designed these! By Amazed by Nature from Northern Indiana on 09/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Lightweight, Tough Best Uses: Backpacking, Day trip Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These little things are great! No more water everywhere when you just want a little sip. Easily removed when higher volume of water is needed-easily installed. I ordered 3 and wish I had ordered more-they were sold out when I checked back.I wish I would have bought one for each of the scouts in the troop.

Great how it fits all 1L size bottles By Rippin It! from The general SE on 08/11/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Rubbery, Tough Best Uses: Backpacking, Daily Use, Day trip Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had no ideal these were made of a rubbery compound. What a wonderful surprise when my order arrived. I was replacing my older lost model made of rigid plastic. This one is great due to the rubbery compound which allows it to conform to many different brands of water bottles. I love how you can even walk/move and drink with these w/o liquid spilling. My wife even likes this one but not the older models.
Wish I'd invented this! Works great! By Beta Bill from Kernersville, NC on 08/11/2009 Pros: Fits wide mouth bottles, Lightweight, Perimeter seals well, Tough Best Uses: Backpacking, Day trip, Mountaineering, Sailing in rough seas, While driving Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ever try to drink from a wide mouth nalgene quart bottle while driving your car or as a passenger? SUPERB for use in choppy conditions when sailing or motor boating. Glad I bought one for each water bottle. The alien logo might tend to induce vivid nightmares, but would be VERY handy in the event of abduction! I actually got the Hibiscus item no. 1558P-09.
JUST SAY NO to bottled water!!! Refill your own and use with one of these!

By JK from Santa Fe on 08/08/2009 Pros: Compact, Lightweight, Tough Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip, Mountaineering Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These things are great - drink from your widemouth while driving, walking, etc. without worrying about spillage. We have bought 2 at a time and now have 5 since we gave one to a friend. You can push them into the bottle by mistake, but that's because they are soft rubbery plastic (which seems nicer to drink from) not hard plastic like some.
By I don't do nicknames from Tucson, AZ on 08/06/2009 Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: If you frequently spill water or have a small mouth that leaks out the side, this is the gadget for you.
They don't tell you, but the water bottle lid fits on top of this and seals just fine. Fits many generations of wide-mouth bottles, including my old white Nalgene, newer Nalgenes, and all the freebies we've picked up over the years.
