Looks good, but disappointing By Paul family Adventurer from S. Calif. on 09/21/2009 Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Sizing is off and runs small. Disappointed that we are having a difficult time getting something that fits.

So comfortable they embrace your foot and you feet secure and supported. Light weight will be great for travel as well as when on the foot!
Feels like a x-trainer works like a boot By Cliffsquatter from Bakersfield, CA on 07/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was impressed how light the shoe was, I didnt feel like I was lugging around a heavy sole. The stability and traction was quite impressive uphill and down. Also the ankle part of the boot did not rub or irritate my ankle like some other low hiking boots have- Yeaaaaa! Kept my feet cool, very breathable. Overall great shoe! They are perfect for the dry, hot california hiking weather- they will be my JMT shoes this year.

We love to hike and I needed shoes with stability and traction due to a recently sprained ankle. These shoes were comfortable and provided the necessary support from the first wear. I would definitely recommend them!!

Great shoe--don't order size up. By boatergirl from colorado on 07/22/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The shoe seems really great, but I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered a half size up, and the shoe is a little too big now. I've fixed it with some shoe sole inserts and thicker socks, but next time I'll order my regular size and start there. I've done several 6 mile hikes in them--very stable, and seem to have good traction even on wet rocks and sandy hills.
Comfortable but sizing is a little off. By Almost a Grandma from Glenwood Springs, CO on 06/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Other than the sizing, being a little different they are a comfortable shoe. First pair was too small and I went up 1/2 size and now they are a little too long.
