By Bear from Knox, TN on 08/22/2009 Pros: Durable, Great Traction, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really do like them. I am a size 9 usually but I got 9.5 and they are a perfect fit. In every way: length and width. Maybe I am a 9.5 after all, these shoes companies are driving me mad.
Sole is stiff but it will pay off on the track, feels like very food quality. Feel comfortable.

Quality Light Walking Shoe By bigskyadventurist from West Yellowstone, Montana on 08/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Light and breathable, Stable Cons: Low Cut, Not Water Resistant Best Uses: Everyday, Very Short Day Hikes Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good quality everyday outdoor and street shoe. Not a good choice for true hiking, due to the low cut allowing debris to enter the shoe. Well suited for geyser gazing on the boardwalks and light trail walking in Yellowstone and around town.Designed and marketed in Bozeman Montana.
By road runner from central Montana on 08/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable, The heel is wide, The shank is too light, The toe box is wide Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The shoes seem well made. However the shank is too flexible (non-existent after a couple of days). Both the heel and toe box are about size EEE. For a person with a wide foot this is great. Very comfortable
By Israel the Travel from Seattle on 07/11/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I tried both the 11.5 and 12 sizes, and the Oboz Hyalite simply didn't fit my feet properly. I was disappointed as reviews on the Hyalite are positive.
By TrailHacker from Santa Barbara, CA on 07/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Open toe box, Stable Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: One reviewer complained that the shoes felt too loose. Oboz is known for their open toe box. They give you plenty of room for your toes but have a good fit in the midfoot. Since I hike a lot on unlevel ground, My toes are always getting mashed. I've only had these for a few days (and one 12 mile, 2500 elevation hike) but so far I have happy toes. Can't comment on durability yet.
By karen from louisville ky on 07/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great support, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got these shoes before my trip to the grand canyon. Wore them to the grocery once and hit the trail. They were immediately comfortable. I wore boots for the more rocky and hilly hikes. These shoes took me through miles of canyon and the red rocks of Sedona, AZ. I have fairly weak ankles and didn't worry for a minute about the support they had.
